LET'S KISS GOODBYE TO MS
I am inspired by the work of Kiss Goodbye to MS and I wish to do something to support the cause. In the hope of raising much needed research funds, I will be undertaking the 320 km Coast to Coast walk across the UK, starting 26 June 2026. This challenging route will traverse steep, rugged hills, and windy, boggy moors. I am neither young nor particularly fit, but I am determined to complete this trail by 12 July 2026.
Why am I supporting this particular cause?
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves).It is the most common neurological condition in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career.
Two of my loved ones live with it every single day, and this journey will be my way of honouring their strength and courage, while contributing to a future with better treatments, and hopefully, one day soon, a cure. Every step I take will be with love and hope for them and for everyone who is battling this awful disease.
