LET'S KISS GOODBYE TO MS

I am inspired by the work of Kiss Goodbye to MS and I want to do something to make a difference!

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system (the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves).

It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people at a time in their lives when they are planning families and building a career.

Three out of four people living with MS are women.

Your donation will support life-changing research into the prevention, treatment and finding a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Thank you!

My Reason

I personally have Resting Remitting MS I am very lucky it was caught early I have 11 lesions in total 8 on my brain and 3 on my spine, for me MS can sometimes make my vision blurry in my left eye and I can have massive amounts of painand weakness in my left leg that make it difficult to walk.

Every case of MS is different – the progress, severity and specific symptoms of MS are different for everyone.

I was on a Disease Modifying Drug (DMT) called Tysabri for 5 years travelling to Geraldton to the hospital to have my infusion and return home, approximately 7
hrs of driving and at least 2 hours at the hospital in total every four weeks (that comes around too fast).

Though my fundraising efforts since 2019 have raised a total of $21,593.00 and walked a over 1054 kilometres, because myself and so many more people have been raising awareness/money I have been able to change to a new medication called Kesimpta which is a subcutaneous injection (same as a EpiPen) that allows me to have my DMT at the comfort of the couch at home.

Since being on Kesimpta, I have not (keeping fingers crossed

This year I walked 375.5 km and Raised a whopping $22,000.00

Thank you to my Sponsors
