The Brisbane Green Beans Kiss Goodbye to MS

Date:

The Green Beans Committee at Mitchell and Partners, Brisbane, hosted their first annual Kiss Goodbye to MS charity dinner at Gusto da Gianni Portside Wharf on Friday 18th May.

Nova Boy and the team greeted guests as they arrived, and invited them to dive into the Nova sack for a lucky dip prize. There was a kissing booth, all in line with the theme Kiss Goodbye to MS, which the guests thought was a big hit! The Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale attended and shared some very amusing personal anecdotes on living with MS, and even offered a spontaneous prize of “golf day for 4 with Paul Pisasale at Broadwater golf course” which sold for over $400. We also had Professor Simon Broadley give us greater insight into the current research him and his team are conducting at Griffith University.

With great support from MS Queensland, Aegis Media and their clients, sponsors (including Dominos, Vandoros Fine Packaging, Australian Traffic Network, Hotel Jepson, QLD Ballet, Stephanie’s Day Spa, Pizza Capers and many more), and of course the family and friends of people living with MS, the event raised over $10,000 for MS research and services for people with MS in Queensland.

The night was a big success with positive feedback from everyone who attended and the Green Beans committee have already been asked to start planning for next year’s dinner!
